VLSA 2020 Annual General Meeting Scheduled

The Vaseux Lake Stewardship Association Board met on the 18th September and decided to have our annual membership meeting on October 3rd, 2020 at 02:00 – 04:00PM at 216 Sundial Rd.

Weather permitting, we will hold the meeting outdoors. However, if the weather does not cooperate we will have it indoors and would ask that everyone bring a mask.

I will not be able to accommodate more than 15 people in the house, therefore it is important to RSVP by the 26th of September so I can make alternate arrangements if we have more than 15 people who wish to attend.

The following is what has been proposed for discussion at the meeting.

1. Provide a 3 year update on what the Association has accomplished (Norm Gaumont)
2. Provide the 2020 financial report ( Barry Underwood)
3. Provide an overview of the water testing that is presently being conducted at Vaseux Lake (Myles Radchenko)
4. Provide an overview of the proposed funding request for a comprehensive sedimentation study of Vaseux Lake. (Jim D’Andrea)
5. Provide an update on the rototiller for Vaseux Lake. (Norm Gaumont)
6. Provide an overview of the Vaseuxlake.com website (Ros Gardner)
7. Provide an update on the road safety review of Hwy 97 (Norm Gaumont)
