I have attached the RDOS Lake Assessment project for Vaseux Lake which will look at both water quality and the sedimentation of the lake. The RDOS has received $25,440 for the first phase of the Project as outlined in the attachment.
Vaseux Lake Homeowners’ Meeting – REPORT
The December 7th meeting with Tom Siddon and Terry Schafer on the Vaseux Lake Home Owners Association’s concerns was a success. It allowed us to highlight our concern relating to the final phase of polishing any remaining effluents through a parcel of land from the Okanagan Treatment plant.

The Okanagan Basic Water Board has asked us to identify the areas for treatment of the milfoil. I have identified milfoil locations based on OBWB recommendations on what would be allowed by the Ministry. Areas near the river would not be authorized therefore this was left out. (See map below).
